Become an IMS donor-partner, a strong social commitment to health for everyone

This unique institute in Europe responds to the challenges faced by the pharmaceutical industry:
Producing high-quality research that is essential to the externalisation of its pre-clinical research activities
Training a new generation of scientific managers for the industry
Promoting technological innovation through the creation of drug-related start-ups

Become a donor-partner of your selected structure and support research, the school, or start-ups :

Inspire your research themes through the innovations made by IMS laboratories

Identify your future collaborators from among our talented students
– Contribute to the shared commitment to bring drug production back to France
Create a fund in your name to generate new technological advances and ensure the long-term employment of a panel of engineers and technicians.
Support young researchers engaging in the DDD challenge, an entrepreneurial project leading to start-ups
Contribute to the launch of promising start-ups by adding to their equity capital.

Contribute to a research centre

Create a fund in your name to generate new technological advances and ensure long-term employment for a panel of competent researchers on the campus

  • To ensure high-quality research, the Medalis research centre wishes to develop a donor fund allowing:
long-term employment of a group of research engineers and technicians, to ensure a “memory” for our mission, the team will be enriched through experience thanks to the multiple projects mentored
  • consolidation of research infrastructures and investment in state-of-the-art equipment

Why donate to a research centre?

Bring drug production back to Europe

Supporting drug development in Europe is a crucial strategic challenge, as revealed by the recent health crisis. Help a French research centre to develop tomorrow’s therapies.

An essential societal commitment for numerous patients

Supporting the search for new drugs is an inestimable support for health for everyone, an authentic CSR approach in the service of future novel therapeutic solutions for patients.

Develop a high-level scientific network

By supporting the Medalis research centre, you become an official funder of the institute. In this capacity, you can develop strong links with researchers from internationally-renowned laboratories.

Optimise your donation

The IMS is associated with the Foundation for Chemistry Research so that all donations from companies fiscally resident in France are eligible for a 60% rebate on companies’ tax (Impôt sur les Sociétés) (within the limit of 0.5% of turnover).

Invest in the school

Support a new generation of students through the DDD challenge

The Strasbourg Drug Discovery and Development Institute is a renowned entity training future managers for drug discovery and development. Its Euridis school provides the opportunity for brilliant international students to reveal their innovation potential, and mentors them in an entrepreneurial project right up to creation of their start-up.
Every year, Medalis research teams work in close collaboration with clinicians to launch a challenge open to Euridis students based on an identified medical need: the DDD challenge.

Consisting of interdisciplinary pairs of students, the winners will be awarded PhD funding along with an operating budget to support the launch of a project with a high potential for transfer.

Why contribute to the DDD challenge ?

Attract talents to Strasbourg

This challenge allows the Strasbourg Institute for Drug Development to attract very high-achieving international talents, and to train these brilliant students up to PhD level on drugs-market-oriented research themes.

Identify future collaborators

As a partner company of Euridis and the DDD challenge, you will come into contact with the tomorrow’s scientific managers, and researchers trained in bringing novel therapeutic solutions to market.

Support start-ups

Launch promising start-ups by contributing to their equity capital

The IMS ensures mentoring for its start-ups through its entrepreneurial maturation centre Inedis.

At this stage, a start-up needs equity capital to transform its technological project into a business model.

Your support is essential to the companies to continue the pre-clinical development of their therapeutic innovations.
